No Room At The Inn

March 9 - TGIF Today marks the end of my snowy Exile. I'm back home in Hawley at my Humble Commode! We had 2 storms dumping near 20 inches and downing Power Lines far and wide. According to PP & L over 110,000 residents waited almost a full week until power was fully restored. Your's Truly spent his first night at the Wayne Hotel. I was given a refund of my second day if I checked out. Apparently it seems expecting advertised amenities is grounds to be asked to leave. Imagine asking politely for a power outlet to plug in a computer AND for it to work in the room you rented? So I did as requested, snarkily asking if I could use the internet to find another room and remarking "Oh Wait it doesn't work in my room". So off I went to the city of Wilkes-Barre, to the local Quality Inn & Suites on Kidder Street where I was treated very nice and Everything worked as avertised and for exactly Half Price. So for once, we got a great deal, cheap price, clean comfortable room as opposed to a room where NOTHING worked as advertized, we we charged double, rudely treated and asked to leave. Our "crime"? expecting the room quality to match the price which sadly did not come close. DO Not book the Wayne Hotel, The piece of sht room matches the Owner's Attitude.
